The City of Niagara Falls Community Development Department (NFCD) invites local residents to have a slice and discuss the 2018 DRAFT Community Development Action Plan on Wednesday, November 29, 2017. “There is no rule that government meetings need to be stuffy, and we want to hear local opinions and feedback in a casual setting,” Seth Piccirillo, Director of NFCD.
What: PIZZA with the PLAN
When: Wednesday, November 29, 2017, 6 pm
Where: Niagara Falls Community Development Office
1022 Main Street

Community development starts with community participation. NFCD, through its Citizen Participation Process, develops an annual Action Plan that lists and prioritizes local housing and non-housing community development needs.
On November 15, 2017, NFCD published the DRAFT 2018 Action Plan for public review. The plan is available on our website at www.nf-cd.org/participate The public comment period will end Friday, December 15, 2017 at 12 pm. PIZZA with the PLAN offers the opportunity to discuss any and all of the draft 2018 in a casual setting. Our ultimate goal, through this process and in general, is to incorporate ideas and concerns from our residents into each annual action plan.
An official public hearing will also be held Monday, December 18, 2017, at 6 pm at City Hall Council Chambers (745 Main Street). Both PIZZA with the PLAN and the public hearing will discuss the 2018 Action Plan process, the published draft, and allow for verbal and written comments. Written comments outside of these public meetings can be made using the contact form at www.nf-cd.org/participate or by submitting a written statement in person or by mail to:
